Meditation can be used to relax both mind and body, it sharpens the mind and increases focus, when was the last time you meditated? Most people don’t take meditation seriously and in this world of ever increasing distractions it is good to have something to keep you focused. Have your thoughts ever been so jumbled that you become so confused about what to do? Meditation can help with that, when you wake up in the morning just lie down with the lights off, put on some meditation music such as waves lapping the sea shore, there are plenty of meditation apps out there download one and set your phone. Then close your eyes and focus on the music alone, listen to the waves caressing the shore. You can use other meditation music like birds chirping in the morning but for me I find that waves are my kinda thing.You will find your mind becoming clearer, and your thoughts become lest cluttered.
When our thoughts become jumbled and we don’t have a clear way in our mind of doing things we get frustrated and upset. I compare this to computer that is processing way too much information and then you give it some more instructions what happens? It becomes even slower or it just crashes because it was not given clear instructions. So what do you do when this happens? You go into task manager and stop some of the programs, leave one running and the computer suddenly becomes more efficient. This is what meditation does for you, it clears away the clutter so you can think straight and process things more effectively and efficiently. Many people simply don’t think of their brains like they do their bodies but if you overwork your body, you see what happens? It collapses under the strain, your brain and mind is no different. Give it some downtime.
